There are three main types of faceplates:
- Euro module faceplates - These are designed to support the European modular system, allowing for a wide range of switches & sockets in the same faceplate.
- Raised edge faceplates - These feature a raised border around the edges creating a smooth shape curving towards the modules.
- Screwless faceplates - As the name suggests, screwless faceplates are designed to have no screws facing on the surface, which is ideal for achieving a sleek, aesthetic finish.

In application, screwless and screwed-on faceplates are the same - they protect your wires and keep it looking as neat as possible. In installation, they are slightly different. Screw-on faceplates are designed to screw into your back box, whereas screwless faceplates are designed to clip onto the sides of your back box.
Generally speaking, yes, modular faceplates are easy to install - they simply screw/snap onto the back box. To add your modules, all you need to do is snap them into place. That being said, we strongly recommend hiring a professional electrician to install your modular switch/socket if you’ve never done it before.
Our standard delivery time is 2-3 days after dispatch; however, you can receive it faster within 1-2 days of placing your order with the express delivery option. For same-day dispatch, please place your order before 12 pm on that day. For further details, please see our delivery page.
