Touch dimmer light switches are a modern version of a dimmer switch that utilises touch control technology instead of a physical knob to control the brightness of your ceiling lights.

Touch dimmer light switches are designed with innovative technology that eliminates the need for a physical knob. Instead, the switch relies on your touch to operate. Here's how it works: the switch panel acts as a sensor. When you touch it, your body slightly changes the electrical field around it. The built-in electronics detect this change and interpret it as a command to adjust the power going to your lights, controlling the brightness. Some touch dimmers allow you to adjust brightness with multiple touches, such as tapping once for low light, twice for medium, and so on. Our range features soft start technology, which brings the lights to a set level in about 1 second and extends the lamp's life.

A master touch switch controls the lights; these offer full functionality, including turning the lights on/off, dimming, and potentially setting presets. The secondary touch switch is a valuable companion to the master touch switch. It allows you to control the lights from a different location in the room, such as near the doorway. Its design is often simpler, focusing on basic functions like on/off and dimming. For multi-way switching (controlling lights from two or more locations), you'll need both a master and secondary touch switch.
